In demand as both a soloist and a chamber musician Noriko Kawai is a highly acclaimed pianist of international repute. She has appeared at major music festivals and concert halls throughout the world including the BBC Proms, Southbank centre, and Ars Musica Strasbourg, with some of world’s great orchestras and chamber groups.

Through her own teachers she has inherited pedagogical methods and a legacy of performance practice descended from both Chopin and Liszt.
Her precise, practical and highly detailed approach to the teaching of pianistic skills sees often instant results in the lessons. Noriko believes passionately in drawing from the student’s their own innate abilities, not only to extend their technical prowess but to develop their own unique voice.
